THE DENIM DRESS

We was off to our annual Pre-Christmas family party which is always nice. Catching up with everyone paired with free food & drink who could really complain. I love an excuse to make an effort so this is the look I decided to go for...

Dress- Missguided
Bag- Ebay (Sorry couldn't find the link)
Shoes- Asos

My thought process was to look girly whilst keeping warm and to not look like a fluesy (lol). I think I ticked most of my boxes.

My Same ol' arm candy, that I adore

Me tootsies...

The dress was pretty simple so I went heavy glam on the makeup. I love red lips on everyone else but I always second guess them on me. However it's Christmas and i'm conquering fears out here so red lips it is.

I used my Lip Lacquers from MUA and my Eyeshadow palette from Barry M mentioned on my previous blog post 'NEW IN: MAKEUP'

So for my makeup details please check that post out.

Foundation- 'Chanel perfection lumiere 060'
Lashes- 'Ardell 107 Glamour'

I hope you liked this look and my outfit and thank you so much for reading.

NEW IN: MAKEUP

Mac stores are few & far between even in London so its always fun when I get to one. Some of these products have been out for a while now but they are new to my collection. So  I hope you don't mind me sharing them. I'm permanently on the hunt for makeup options to use on my big day which is fast approaching (only 6 months to go...... Eeek). I am mixed race which means some of the well known Mac wedding favourites do not work on me - gut wrenching believe me. My latest struggle is to find the perfect natural pink lipstick so if you guys have any suggestions, they are more than welcome!!

I am getting married in the Dominican Republic so these shades are to suit super sunkissed skin.

Mac- 'Cheeky Bronze'
Mineralize skinfinish highlight

(Mac's soft & gentle looked grey on me *crying face*)

Mac- 'Cheeky bronze'
Mac- 'Dainty' blush- on the right
Sorry I couldn't open the packaging so I didn't get a close up lol
This is my wedding blush for the moment *hands covers eyes*

Mac- NC35
Pro Longwear- Perfect for weddings & a beautiful highlight

On my beauty travels I spotted some hidden gems in Superdrugs!- you don't have to spend a fortune to look amazing. So here are some bonus (Non wedding) drugstore items that are NEW and totally worth buying.

Barry M- Starry Eyed Shadow & Blush Palette *Limited Edition* £6.99
Love the colours, transition shade, shimmers & mattes. The pigmentation is out of this world plus they are creamy and easy to blend.
The blush (is bright shimmering orange) I personally would use this as a shadow too, shimmer is not great on my cheeks.

Left 'Atomic', Right 'Reckless'

OK let's hold up right hurrr'
Lets take a minute to introduce 'MUA Luxe London Lip Lacquers'
Only £3's, the colour strength & staying power is phenomenal.
They glide on and stay on and they have a great colour selection.

I love all these products and I will be posting up a look on Instagram using some of them.
If you would like to see a video of me creating a look please let me know.

Thank you so much for reading

Fall Makeup- The Vampy lip trend

I look so happy in this shot.. :P

A tired face with no makeup....

Face-
Primer- Laura Mercier- 'Radiance'
Foundation- Mac 'Studio Sculpt NC44'
Brows- Laura Mercier Holiday palette- 'Ground'
Blush- BH cosmetics- 'mauvey colour'
Lips- Collection 2000- 'Damson'
Finished with Mac's Fixed + Setting spray

Stiletto nails..

The Vampy Lip trend is terrifying to me, I like looking tanned and I'm not a fan of enhancing the size of my natural lips. The truth is a vamp lip highlights everything I am trying to hide! Corals & nudey pinks are definitely my go-to lip colour but I'm tired of playing safe. So I decided its time... to rock and pursue the dreaded 'Vamp Lip'. I used a lip liner from 'Collection 2000', I checked for you guys and its called 'Damson' not Cranberry. It was only £2.99 (correction its only £1.99) and it was obviously worth every penny. I have to say now that I am a changed women and my fears have gone with the wind.

I totally love this lip and it will be used throughout winter. A small recommendation would be to fake tan first because it does wash out your skin colour!

Have you faced your fears on a makeup trend recently?? Let me know I would love to hear your
stories!

'Damson'

A mad blurry moment

The finished look..

I am trying to conquer my fears and although its small to some a 'Vamp lip' was like a roller coaster ride that I refused to get on. Join me in conquering your makeup fears <3

Thank you so much reading

The London Eye & Ping Pong

We recently took a trip to the London eye, being a Londoner local attractions and excursions are something I kinda take for granted. It was our best friend's birthday and somehow by a series of fortunate events all eight of us ended up in a private pod. We definitely did the Eye in style :=) It was beautiful, romantic and a must even if you live a stone throw away..

The night went on to Ping Pong, a chain of Dim Sum restaurants at Southbank Centre, Belvedere Rd. Another 10 friends joined us so it was safe to say the restaurant was at full capacity. We had such big party it was hard to get close ups of the food. Most of the party really enjoyed it, I'm intolerant to wheat and gluten, the choice was limited but at least they catered for me. You must try the Elderflower Mocktail... it was soo nice!

Chowing down... white shirt and ribs are not a great combination!

Shirt- Boohoo.com
Jeans- Boohoo.com
Shoes- Asos.co.uk

If you haven't been to the London Eye- you have to go at least once. Ping Pong was nice but truthfully I would need a bigger selection of gluten free food to go again.

Thank you so much for reading
