Hi Guys!
Happy Autumn :)
Just wanted to do a post on two of my favourite things for this time of year. Firstly, I'm loving khaki oversized bombers which I'm finding really easy to wear, from day to day with jeans and simple tees this is a good throw on item with anything. My second favourite is over the knee boots. These have had a complete revival in A/W15 and the usual negative connotations associated have vanished since they took centre stage and owned the catwalks. Every autumn/ winter we find ourselves on the hunt for the perfect pair of boots, although over the knee can seem harder to wear it's actually very versatile and can in fact dress down or up an outfit. I have found they are the perfect alternative for still keeping bare legs out in the cold! Because I wanted this look to be simply about my stable items I chose to team it with a no fuss black t-shirt dress.

Hi guys, hope you are all well and keeping warm. The winter months are sadly here and besides the dark mornings and early evenings. We also have to combat dry skin and chapped lips :( You maybe one of the lucky who keeps silky smooth skin all year round. I unfortunately fall straight into dry and patchy skin category which is such a nuisance especially when applying makeup.

Half way through the day my makeup seems to sit right in my dry patches and highlight the problem area even more. I do feel slight pressure when going out that my makeup has to be looking flawless because I am a professional, and spend most my time giving out makeup advice.

Suffering with dry patches is embarrassing and something which can be hard to control. I have taken some extra steps in my skincare regime to help prevent the patches on my face.

I have listed some of the products I use which you may already have.

Once a week I use a mask and exfoliate my lips to prevent chapping,

Mask of Magniminty - Lush cosmetics £9.99 for the large tub

Popcorn Lip Scrub- Lush Cosmetics £4.99

Daily I use

Cleanser by Gatineau QVC Beauty approx £20

Toner by Gatineau QVC Beauty approx £20

Final step,

Dramatically Different by Clinique approx £25

I have to admit i'm not overly bothered about the brand. I just use products based on what works for me. I love the mask by Lush its great value for money and leaves your skin silky smooth. I don't love the lip scrub because I feel like it falls off everywhere and can get messy. I am trying to use it up before buying another one. The Gatineau products are amazing the toner really helps reduce my spots strangely enough. Dramatically different by Clinique is super moisturising I have to use this and its worth the money.

Other things I try to do in the winter is use less powder and more cream products. Liquid foundations (as always) but not Matte ones! Cream blushes & highlighters lipsticks with lipgloss on top to help with chapping.

I really hope this post has helped you guys, this post is not sponsored and all the products I have recommended are just my personal favourites.

Sending love and the Jlo Glow to everyone

Hi Guys!
Hope you all had an amazing halloween and enjoyed dressing up in costumes! This was the first year I decided to get into the spirit and actually dress up and enjoy it. It took me a while to make up my mind about who I wanted to be, I eventually came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to be scary haha isn't that the point of halloween? I chose instead to fulfil my childhood dream of being a disney princess, and that was Pocahontas! I thought that being a dead, bloody or spooky Pocahontas would take away from the costume, but if you wanted to add this touch it would be an interesting twist. Once my mind was made up I set out to find all things Pocahontas inspired, and managed to find an exact copy of her one shouldered fringe dress.

After finding the dress I realised Pocahontas wouldn't be the same without her beautiful long locks so I found a long black straight wig. I decided to add an headband just to secure the wig on the night and  to add some extra accessories. Pocahontas also has a tattoo band across he arm, so I replicated this using metallic tattoos. For the footwear I chose a neutral colour to compliment the palette of the outfit. I've learnt a lot of make up tips from Sebrina so I attempted this on my own! Again I stuck with the earthy tones, golds and browns and added the turquoise under the eyes to bring these out. The best thing about being Pocahontas is that is doesn't need to be only halloween to dress up as her, this can be used for any other fancy dress occasions. Looking forward to seeing you all as Disney princesses soon!

Hi guys, so this post is slightly delayed.. (one slaps wrist!) I went to Beauty Olympia this year, if you didn't know Beauty Olympia is a Trade show for people in all aspects of the beauty industry.

It gives existing and new brands a chance to showcase their products directly to masters of the trade. Hairdressers, nail technicians & makeup artists filled Olympia to see the latest products and inventions.

I really enjoyed it this year, especially seeing brands from America that don't have many or any outlets in the UK such as Sigma, Milani, Crown Brush & NYX. My only pet hate was that the show was mainly for nails, literally every other stand was nails. I wished there was more makeup but thats just me. I would definitely recommend going, I spent around £200 adding some American and French goodies to my kit. There is no price on getting to test brands that I never usually would have access too.

A touch of sparkle never hurt anybody...

The face your husband pulls when he is dragged to a beauty trade show.. he he

I really hope you find this post helpful guys

Sending love and high cheekbones to you all

Hi guys & girls, so I filmed a really quick and simple Halloween Makeup tutorial. The products used in the video are makeup bags staples. So everyone will pretty much have an alternative if you don't already have the same products.

Life is to short to care about things that don't matter. So do a face paint and walk around with your head held high.

I really hope you like the look and please #Hashtag us on Instagram & Twitter if you recreate the look. Please subscribe and like the video it really helps our blurb going! <3

lots of love & blueberry muffins!

Hi Guys!

I wanted to do a quick post on my current obsession for Autumn. At the moment I am loving all things leather, especially leather trousers! They don't necessarily have to be real leather just anything coated, leather look, leather like. I think this is such an easy way to dress up a casual look, perfect for a dinner date. I'm not ready to fully commit to long sleeve jumpers so I decided to go for a cream sleeveless cable knit roll neck jumper, ideal for the transitional weather.

I had my make up done by Sebrina and I loved the look she did on me! I'm very excited to bring back out the darker colours, rich gold, brown eye shadows and autumnal plums and red lipsticks.
